WARNING : The mother boards for DV6000 are very fragile in the Nvidia Go7200 chip area, which is not correctly cooled after disassembly. It is therefore imperative to follow the maker's instructions, must know:
- Clean the heatsink of all thermique particles until you reach teh copper (use acetone)
- Use a new thermal conductor for the CPU, the chipset and the video card
- While mounting the heatsink check that the pressure is ok on the chipset and the video card, and if need be, increase the pressure by twisting the the arms of the spring on the heatsink
By not following these rules you may degrade the video chip until it no longer functions!!
